Are you looking for help or ideas on how to educate young people on the issues surrounding Alcohol, Drugs, Smoking and Gambling?
Our Educational Development Officer, Vickki, is available to visit schools, colleges, youth organisations and other establishments, to deliver awareness sesions using a variety of methods. Vickki will meet with you, give advice and share her ideas. Her sessions, which are tailor-made to suit your requirements, will be interactive and fun, but will not detract from the serious message surrounding the issues of alcohol, drugs, smoking and gambling.
We are also available to attend health days/events. To showcase the topic of the event, we will bring along displays of our resources and literature to hand out. We will be available to talk with visitors and will also engage them with interactive activities. Vickki can also assist with advice on campaigns associated with issues surrounding alcohol, drugs, smoking and gambling.
The range of our literature is also a useful tool for displays and for students completing projects and homework.
Although we are a not-for-profit organisation, we charge a nominal fee to cover our services and all resources/literature provided for the session/event.
Our 2012 charges are as follows:-
Up to two educational sessions £30.00
Thereafter, additional sessions on the same day £10.00 per session
Mileage charged at £ 0.45 per mile
Health Days/Events £20.00 per day
+ mileage at £ 0.45 per mile
