Membership

The White Ribbon Association is a Christian organisation - it was founded by women in 1876 and continues to be run by women to this day.

Your support will help to make a difference to society!

Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco and Gambling are hugely detrimental to society. You can help to make a difference! Your support will enable us to continue educating young people about the harmful effects of alcohol, drugs, tobacco and gambling, allowing them to make healthy and educated choices.

Although the White Ribbon Association is a women's organisation, men can  join as Associate Members (Associate Members are not entitled to have a vote within the Organisation). 

If you would like to become a Member or Associate Member you must sign a Declaration of Promise (opens pdf form) to abstain from alcohol, tobacco and illicit drugs.  However, if you do not want to sign the Declaration of Promise you can still support our work by becoming a Friend of the White Ribbon Association (opens pdf form).  For £5 a year you will receive our quarterly magazine and we will keep you updated on forthcoming events, etc.

Only members and Associate Members are entitled to wear our White Ribbon Badge.  The subscription for Members and Associate Members is £5 a year; for this you will receive quarterly copies of  the White Ribbon Magazine, advance notifications of our forthcoming events, discounts on our seminars and conferences and freee samples of our literature.

We also welcome donations! If you are a UK taxpayer you can GiftAid your donation to us.
