Gamcare is a charity which provides advice, support and free counselling to those needing to treat their problem gambling. They also work to provide information about and raise awareness of problem gambling. Gamcare run confidential online and phone helplines, offering advice, information and support. Their counselling services are available all over the UK and they also run a short-term residential treatment programme.Their website provides links to other organisations which can provide counselling, debt management or assistance dealing with loan sharks.

National Problem Gambling Clinic
The National Problem Gambling Clinic is run by the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The Clinic takes patients from England and Wales aged 16 and over who have been referred. The referral form is available on their website. A range of therapies, support, treatments, programmes and aftercare are used to help the problem gambler, depending on his or her individual needs. Support is also available for families and friends.
