About Crystal Meth

‘Meth’ is similar to cocaine but it lasts much longer. It one of a group of stimulant drugs called amphetamines that act upon the brain and nervous system. The crystalline form, which is sometimes called ‘Ice’, is smoked, and can rapidly lead to high blood levels. It is an extremely addictive drug.

The risks

Smoking the crystalline form, also known as Crystal Meth, produces a very intense rush, similar to that produced by crack cocaine Injecting the drug or smoking it is highly addictive, and can cause psychological and physical dependence.

The law

Crystal Meth is a Class A drug, and if you are caught in possession it can lead to 7 years in prison and/or an unlimited fine.

Supplying Crystal Meth to someone else, including your friends, can get you a life sentence and/or an unlimited fine.
